I was born and raised in Pennsylvania. As a kid, my brother and I, along with the neighborhood kids, spent countless hours in the woods building forts and making trails to ride our bikes through. Today kids are spending less and less time in nature and more time in front of screens. For me, wildlife and nature photography refreshes the soul, allows us to appreciate the simple, and connects us back to our Creator. I’m passionate about telling stories that increase awareness of the natural world and helping others learn to do the same.

Bears are, without a doubt, my favorite subject, but I find just as much joy witnessing a cardinal or chipmunk hoping from branch to branch.

As a high school video production teacher, I have spent years instructing students to use technology to effectively tell a visual story. It’s extremely rewarding to watch as students develop skills and create content that both entertains and informs. Through the use of my YouTube channel and website I’m able to do the same thing on a grander scale. I look forward to helping you unlock your camera and create memorable images as you immerse yourself in nature.
